CANVASSING DAY
Democratic National
Committee Chairman Howard Dean has declared
April 29th as National Canvassing Day for
Democrats nationwide. All across the
U.S., Democrats will be organizing grassroot
events to identify voters and kick-off the
upcoming 2006 campaign cycle. The
Ada County Democrats are
pleased to announce that we will be joining
this nationwide movement and will be working
hard to identify our neighbors throughout Ada
County.

YOU!

your calendars and join us for a few
hours
Saturday, April
29th, 2006
We will be
meeting at two locations for four
different shifts.
SELECT A TIME
AND LOCATION BELOW THAT IS MOST CONVENIENT
FOR YOU:
Veterans Memorial
Park (on the corner of State and
Veteran Memorial Parkway) at 9
am and 12 pm
Cassia Park (on W. Camas
St., off S. Orchard Street) at
10:30am and 1:30
pm
We need:
80 Canvassers (We will
provide all materials and
training--canvassing takes about 2-3
hours)
10 Data entry volunteers
(Shifts starting @ 1:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. at
our Overland headquarters)
10 Support staff (Activities such
as driving, clean-up, and set-up--shifts
start @ 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.)
