Atlanta Gold Mine "Get Involved" Meeting

Where
MK Nature Center, 600 S. Walnut, Boise

When
May 11, 2006    6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Idaho Families for Clean Water, a community coalition spearheaded by Idaho Rivers United, Idaho Conservation League and the Sierra Club, invites you to a special "Get Involved" meeting on Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the MK Nature Center, 600 S. Walnut.

Everyone will need to pitch in to stop the gold mine and protect the Boise River, and this meeting is just the place to find the "job" that fits your schedule and interest.

Many activities are planned for this summer including outings to the Middle Fork Boise River and Atlanta, a Concert for the River, business outreach, and gathering signatures on the petition, and there are always administrative chores to be done.

Getting involved in protecting the places you love is good for you; you meet people, learn new skills, and feel proud knowing you are making a difference.  Kids are welcome at this meeting (bring a few toys).  Call me if you have questions.

If you love a river...
