Ada County Democrats – Your Party

August 3, 2009

 Good afternoon Ada County Democrats!

We’re moving through this summer quickly and with lots of success  in both fundraisers and public outreach activities. August brings even more opportunity for both, including Kuna Days on the 8th and the Western Idaho Fair from the 1st – 30th. Please check your calendars and let me know if you can join us at either event.

I’m also excited to announce the development of our brand new  Outreach Council. Still in its early stages of planning, the Council will help integrate Ada County Democrats into community events where we can make a real difference, on topics like education, energy, safety, fiscal responsibility and quality of life. It’ll also give our volunteers more Specialized opportunities to help – we realize not everyone wants to call voters or knock on doors. If you’re interested in joining the Outreach Council or would like more information, please contact Gary Allen at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. And finally, keep October in mind for a special event: a private screening of Michael Moore’s new movie at The Flicks.

Thanks and see you soon,

Chryssa Rich

Ada Dems News
Ada County Democrats – Your Party
July 1, 2009

Good morning Ada County Democrats! July is a big month for us, with lots of exciting developments and great community outreach events to attend and plan for.

This month's biggest news is the election of your new Chair and Vice Chair.  More than 50 people attended June's Central Committee meeting on the 16th and a total of 51 votes were cast. I'm honored to have been elected your new Chair and look forward to working with Jeff Almeida, your new Vice Chair.

I'd also like to send a special thank you to Colleen Fellows, who worked tirelessly to keep the party moving forward after Deb's resignation.

Please join us in the 4th of July parade this Saturday, and read on for details and more events.

Have a great month and see you soon!
Chryssa Rich
