Students, faculty, staff and the larger community are invited to join Senator Melissa Wintrow (D) and Senator Treg Bernt (R) for a bi-partisan town hall. Participants will hear a short presentation from the senators followed by an opportunity to talk and listen to one another respectfully across different viewpoints. The evening is inspired by the preamble to Idaho’s Constitution calling Idahoans to “promote our common welfare.”
Senator Wintrow and Senator Bernt will engage the audience in exactly this conversation, exploring both our freedom of thought and shared responsibility for living together in the great state of Idaho.
