Legislative District Map
Ada County encompasses or touches 11 of Idaho’s 35 Legislative Districts. Each district is made up of precincts as established by a bipartisan committee every ten years. The precincts are mostly of similar size and help divide up the districts so polling places are closer to the voters. Less populated areas may have much larger sized precincts.
Click the button to access the Ada County mapper where you can enter your address and find your legislative district, among other information. (Note: There is another button lower down to use the Vote Idaho page to find your precinct and legislative district info, also.)

Precinct Captains and Vice Precinct Captains
Precinct Captains represent registered Democrats within their precinct and are elected at the biennial primary election held in May of each even year. Vice Precinct Captains support Precinct Captains and fill the role of Precinct Captains when they are unable to do so themselves. Precinct Captains are voting members of the Ada County Democratic Central Committee and members of their respective Legislative District Committees.
Any empty precincts can use a Precinct Captain. Contact the District Chair if you are interested. It is a great way to get engaged without a lot of work. Any precincts without a Vice Captain has that position open. A precinct can have an unlimited number of Precinct Partners that help as needed.
Click the button to access the Vote Idaho “View My Voting Location” page where you can enter your address and find your precinct, among other information.
