And a special thank you to our entire Events Committee especially event lead Roberta D’Amico who worked incredibly hard on throwing an amazing event!
Some lucky attendees won some incredible prizes – two tickets to the Gracie Pfost Gala, courtesy of the Ada Dems, and two tickets to comedian Tom Segura, courtesy of an amazing donation from Robin Hanford! Thank you Robin!

Legislature adjourns until Wednesday
Mercilessly the damaging and harmful 2024 session of the Idaho Legislature may soon be wrapping up. The legislature has recessed until April 10thj, giving the governor time to veto, and then possibly override any said vetoes before adjourning for the year. A few low lights of this years session are, awful bills that continue to target the LGBTQ+ community, in libraries, health care, and even in state definitions. Rejecting money to help hungry kids during the summer, and providing no relief for women targeted by archaic and dangerous abortion laws. Let’s hope for a quick adjournment so that if nothing else we get a respite from the fools in the legislature.
2024 Field Launch With Distributed Lists
On March 30th, the Ada Democrats launched our field program for the year. We’ve built a universe of voters to identify and activate, and the most exciting part is it’s never been easier to use! Instead of having to get new list numbers each time you have to door knock, the list picks up the nearest 30 doors for you, and will continue to do so all year long.
